Courtney Quebec, MA BFA

Courtney completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in jazz performance as well as her Master of Arts in Composition at York University.  She released her debut album, I Hear Colours, in 2011 and has worked as both a pianist and vocalist on many recordings in a wide variety of musical genres, including Juno-Nominated “Coconuts Don’t Fall Far from the Tree” by Treehouse Television’s children’s group, Splash ‘N Boots.  With 13 years of teaching experience under her belt, Courtney has worked with students of all ages and experience levels. She taught courses at the University level at York University, and held a contract teaching position at Laurentian University.  Courtney absolutely loves working with children and led music classes for babies & toddlers for many years in Toronto, ON.  She is a firm believer in the power of music and held the position of Musical Director at the Aphasia Institute in Toronto for 3 years in a therapy program for individuals who were recovering Speech & Language skills after having suffered a stroke.  Having moved to the Belleville area in 2016, Courtney is thrilled to join the Pinnacle Music team and is looking forward to seeing you in her studio!
