Patricia Ross

Patricia Ross, earned her ARCT in 1995 and has been teaching piano for 20 years.  Patricia also teaches the Music for Young Children program.

I began music lessons at the age of 9 in my hometown of Vaudreuil, PQ.  where I was fortunate enough to study with the Soeurs de Ste. Anne and later with renowned pedagogue, Mlle. Yvonne Hubert in Montreal. In 1980, I moved to Belleville with my husband and raised my family over the next few years. I completed my ARCT with Lois Williams and Earl Moss (Toronto) in 1995 and have been teaching since that time.

I was an accompanist for the Hastings and Prince Edward Childrens’ Chorus for 11 years with director Mr. Rudolf Heijdens. During that time, I participated in 6 European and American tours, including 3 choral competitions in Austria.

Presently I am teaching Music For Young Children (, a keyboard program geared to children 4 -9 years of age, and private piano students from the beginner to the ARCT level. I accompany students for examinations, festivals and various concerts. I belong to  ‘Praise Friends’-a womens’ double trio for whom I accompany at church services, teachers’ meetings and various concerts in the Quinte area.

You can find me from Tuesday to Saturday at Pinnacle Music Studios.
